Dress Code FEMALE All female students are required to wear a black leotard (preferably long sleeve), pink tights and pink ballet shoes (a short chiffon black skirt is optional). Hair must be secured against the head (no pigtails, ponytails, or bangs). MALE Male students must wear black tights, white t-shirts, white socks, white ballet shoes and a black dance belt. A Special Note Concerning the Studios Each of the four spacious studios has a fully-mirrored wall. The basket weave construction of the floors is designed to be orthopedically correct and conducive to the most beneficial movement. The floor surfaces are of either maple or a special composition produced in London.
